WCL has a seven member Management Committee, elected at our Annual General meeting. Members of the WCL Management Committee are representatives from our registered WCL community members, Local Government & industry groups. The WCL Management Committee meets bi-monthly to direct & monitor the organisation’s financial management; activities of WCL staff; undertake future planning and provide strategic advice for ongoing activities. General meetings undertaken twice yearly where relevant topical presentations, of benefit to our members are arranged.
As a registered charity WCL, has a Public Fund where all donations (of money or property) are required to be deposited or registered. This Public fund is managed by a separate management committee, with different membership to the WCL Management Committee. The members of the WCL Public Fund Committee are registered with the Australian Not-for–Profits Commission & Register of Environmental Organisations. WCL is required to report annually on the activities funded from the donations received into the public fund.
